Mild start to weekend, rain & snow chance

TONIGHT: Cloudy skies hang on tonight as we remain dry as temperatures fall into the mid to upper 30s. If you’re an early riser for Saturday morning, expect easterly winds up to 9 mph to create for wind chills in the upper 20s.

SATURDAY: We’ll have pockets of sunshine in the morning with mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach the mid 50s with an easterly wind up to 12 mph. Spotty showers are possible after 5 PM.

EXTENDED: We set our clocks forward one hour before going to bed Saturday night as we return to Daylight Saving Time. Showers are possible Saturday night, continuing into Sunday morning. As colder air moves in, rain could briefly turn to snow Sunday morning but then back to rain. No snow accumulation is expected. Rainfall totals look limited as well, only reaching up to .30″. The rain and snow chances decrease Sunday morning with most areas dry by afternoon. It will be cooler Sunday with high temperatures in the mid 40s.
