Columbia police arrest woman on charges of armed criminal action and domestic assault
Columbia police arrested Tori Marie Stevens, 31, Wednesday on charges of armed criminal action and second-degree domestic assault.
According to the probable cause statement, Stevens allegedly swung a hammer at the arm of a man in her home. Officers said he went to Boone Hospital and doctors treated his cut from the hammer with stitches and a soft cast.
The man also told officers he thought Stevens put a tracking device in his phone.
Officers say Stevens admitted to them she swung the hammer at the man and hit him in the arm.
