UPDATE: Boone County Fire identifies unknown substance as anti-freeze in hazmat situation
UPDATE 10:02 P.M.: A Boone County deputy has confirmed there are no injuries and the incident isn’t drug related. The unknown substance has been identified as anti-freeze.
ORIGINAL STORY: The Boone County Fire Department via Twitter that they’re working a hazmat situation on Alan Circle, just north of Columbia.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is also on scene. There are reports that it could be drug related.
The substance the fire crews are investigating are unknown.
