Blair Oaks names Ted LePage head football coach

Blair Oaks high school named former Jefferson City head coach Ted LePage as its new head football coach.

LePage previously coached the Jays for 12 seasons before stepping down in December after a 3-7 season, which was LePage’s first losing season since 2002. LePage helped lead the Jays to the state semifinals in 2006 and 2008.

LePage previously coached the Falcons fro 2001 to 2006 before taking the Jefferson City job.

LePage played for Mizzou in 1989 and finished with four interceptions in 11 games.

New Jefferson City head coach Terry Walker took the job with the Jays after coaching Blair Oaks for three seasons, totaling a record of 37-3. Walker helped lead the Falcons to the Class 3 state semifinals last year. In his three years at Blair Oaks, the Falcons reached the state semifinals twice. Blair Oaks did not lose a game in the regular season with Walker as its head coach.
