Troopers arrest woman after finding multiple drugs in car

Troopers arrested April Quint on Saturday after officers pulled over a Toyota Camry on I-70 for expired registration.

Troopers said they made contact with Quint, the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt. Officers said they also smelled marijuana coming from the car.

Quint was instructed to get out of the car, and when she did, troopers noticed a bulge in her pants. She was accused of trying to conceal the area and pulled away from the officers when they attempted to determine if she was carrying a weapon.

A struggle ensued before Quint threw a black bag onto the road.

Troopers searched the bag and Quint’s car and found 18 grams of marijuana, approximately two grams of methamphetamine, six grams of cocaine, seven Oxycodone pills, two Alprazolam pills, one Diazepam pill, a scale, a spoon, and 13 empty baggies.
