Man arrested after attempting to run over officers

A Montgomery County man was arrested Saturday after police said he got in his car and drove at officers at a high rate of speed.

Fulton police officers were called to the 400 block of Canterbury Drive just before 5 p.m. for reports of a man going through people’s trash and mail.

When officers arrived on scene the suspect, Michael Junge, 48, of Middletown, got in his car and drove quickly toward them. Police said no one was hurt and Junge was taken into custody shortly after.

He was arrested on suspicion of assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest.
