Spring-like weekend ahead
TONIGHT: It will be another chilly night with clear skies and temperatures falling into the low 30s by morning. Winds out of the southeast up to 10 mph will create wind chills in the mid to upper 20s by morning.
SATURDAY: After a cool morning, temperatures will climb to near 60 in the afternoon with abundant sunshine and south-southeast winds up to 15 mph.
EXTENDED: We could see a spot shower early in the day Sunday but more likely, rain will hold off until Sunday night after 7 PM. Temperatures will reach close to 60 Sunday as clouds increase and winds pick up to 15 mph from the south, gusting to 25 mph at times through Sunday night as a cold front approaches. Showers and isolated t-storms will become scattered Sunday night and continue into Monday morning, tapering off by noon Monday. We expect total rainfall amounts to come in at a quarter to half inch .As we dry out Monday, westerly winds will gust to 25 mph as temperatures reach the upper 50s. Cooler air moves in Monday night, leaving us with a windy and cool day Tuesday with highs in the 40s and winds gusting to 30 mph.
