Columbia police arrest woman accused of intentionally hitting car

Columbia police arrested Laronya Brown on Wednesday afternoon after she was accused of hitting a victim’s car intentionally.

Police said Brown drove to the 3700 block of Koala Drive and engaged in a verbal altercation with the victim. Brown was accused of attempting to hit the victim with her car while the victim was standing in the driveway.

Officers said the victim went to the front door of a residence and Brown began to drive her vehicle into the victim’s car which was parked in the driveway.

The victim’s car was pushed back into the garage door of the residence causing damage to both the vehicle and the garage door.

Brown faces possible charges of assault and property damage.
