Spring arrives early this week

MONDAY: Another gorgeous day is in store today as we make a run for 60 degrees by the afternoon. All day we will see sunny skies and light winds out of the southwest, a picture perfect day to get outside to the park or surrounding trails for a walk or a bike ride.

TONIGHT : It will be a calm and cool night ahead as temperatures drop into the upper 30s under mostly clear skies. Winds out of the southwest from 5-7 mph will create for wind chills around freezing for the morning commute.

EXTENDED : Tuesday we keep the warmth as clouds build into the area ahead of the next storm system. It will be a breezy day allowing temperatures to rise into the upper 60s. By Tuesday night showers will increase from west to east bringing some pockets of heavy rain. By Wednesday morning we will see drying conditions, with another shot of on and off showers by Wednesday afternoon as highs hold onto the low 60s. Behind that system, gusty winds will shift back out of the northwest with drying conditions by Thursday morning. Thursday highs will drop back into the 40s as temperatures cool through the day. Luckily temps recover quickly, warming into the upper 50s heading into next weekend. Watch ABC 17 News for the newest forecast and check back here for updates.
