Speaker announces creation of investigative committee, House members call for Greitens’ resignation
A group of Republican members of the Missouri House of Representatives are holding a news conference today to call for the resignation of Gov. Greitens.
According to an official release, the group will follow the Speakers’ conference announcing the formation of an investigative committee to investigate allegations against Gov. Greitens.
Gov. Greitens was indicted last Thursday by a St. Louis grand jury for invasion of privacy.
The indictment spells out the felony of invasion of privacy in the first degree after the Governor photographed his mistress fully or partially nude without her consent and made the image available via computer.
