Randolph County deputies: Man arrested after search of Clifton Hill home

A Randolph County man is in jail Sunday morning after a search warrant led investigators to drugs, officials said.

In a Facebook post, Randolph County deputies said they and the North Missouri Drug Task Force executed a search warrant in Clifton Hill on Friday.

Roy Hardt, an investigator that worked the case, said they obtained a search warrant after a 15-year-old victim recently reported that George Fotovich, 59, of Clifton Hill allegedly raped them a year ago.

Deputies said they found a pound of marijuana and other incriminating items, and as a result, they arrested Fotovich. Hardt said the other items found can not yet be disclosed.

Deputies said they arrested Fotovich on charges of rape and distribution of a narcotic.

Fotovich is held in the Randolph County Jail with a cash-only bond of $75,000.
