Police investigate burglary at Jefferson City jewelry store
A jewelry store was broken into and items were stolen from it Saturday night, according to a sergeant with the Jefferson City Police Department.
Officers were called to the Blue Diamond on Missouri Boulevard around 8:15 p.m. by the store’s alarm company.
The suspect or suspects smashed the door open, took jewelry items and took off before officers arrived, police said.
The amount of jewelry stolen and its value is unknown at this time and there is no information about the burglar or burglars.
