Rain finally moving out as we begin to transition into Spring
TONIGHT : We’ll continue to watch for scattered showers throughout the evening, but we will begin to clear out most of the precipitation by 7pm. We’ll see clear skies after 10pm. Behind this system, we’re going to see gusty winds build into the region ushering in a another cold night with temperatures dipping into the low 30s.
SUNDAY: You will need the jacket out the door in the morning as it will be a cold start to the day, however, tomorrow afternoon will be wonderful to be outside as we finally push out the rainy pattern and full sunshine returns to Mid-MO. Temperatures will warm into the low 50s with winds light out of the southwest and 4-7mph.
EXTENDED : Sunday is just a taste of what we have to come here across our area. Monday, we keep the sun around as temperatures rise into the low 60s. Tuesday is even warmer where we’ll likely see temperatures near 70. However, we’re watching yet another shot of rain, and maybe even some strong thunderstorms into Wednesday. That’s in association with a potent low pressure system which will swing across the area. We’ll continue to monitor this storm as it develops for the latest on it’s severe weather potential.
