Much needed rainfall heading to Mid-Missouri

TONIGHT: Temperatures will remain steady in the upper 40s and low 50s across the region. Winds will hold steady at 12-15 mph out of the south. We’ll also see scattered showers developing after midnight.

TOMORROW: You will need the umbrella out the door in the morning as we will have chances for rain throughout Monday. We may even hear a few rumbles of thunder. Temperatures will feel more like late April as we touch near 70 degrees once again.

EXTENDED: We should see a more steady rainfall increase across the area into Monday night, and into Tuesday. The rain could be heavy at times. We’re also tracking the potential for a wintry mix late Tuesday into Wednesday. By Friday, another shot of rain is possible across the area. With all the rain, there are some potential flooding concerns this week, especially where we see the heaviest rainfalls set up.
