Columbia police arrest man accused of having the tools to create fake IDs

Columbia police arrested Christian Elliot after officers conducted a traffic stop and found a fictitious Michigan I.D. bearing his photograph and full name.

Officers later searched Elliot’s house and found numerous pages of laminate sheets that had security features for Missouri’s driver’s licenses printed on them.

Elliot faces possible charges of felony forgery and felony possession of a forging instrumentality.
