Columbia man convicted of distributing cocaine and possessing guns

Timothy Garrison, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, announced on Wednesday that a Columbia man was convicted of distributing cocaine and illegally having firearms.

Ramelus Bradley, 37, was found guilty of possessing crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, possessing cocaine with the intent to distribute and one being a felon in possession of a firearm.

In August of 2015, officers executed a search warrant at Bradley’s residence and found more than 150 grams of cocaine, more than 28 grams of cocaine base, numerous unidentified pills, marijuana, a digital scale and four guns.

Garrison said Bradley was a convicted felon after he was charged with distribution of a controlled substance, drug trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

Bradley could face up to 30 years in prison without parole.

A sentencing hearing will be scheduled after a completed investigation.
