Former Rock Bridge football star to transfer to Mizzou
Former Rock Bridge football star Alex Ofodile is coming home. The wide receiver will transfer from Oregon to Mizzou, according to a source close to Ofodile. PowerMizzou publisher Gabe DeArmond first reported the news.
DeArmond reported Ofodile will be a graduate transfer. He’s set to graduate from Oregon this summer and then transfer to MU. The former Bruins receiver will be eligible this upcoming season. He’ll have two years left to play for the black and gold.

Ofodile is the son of former Rock Bridge coach A.J. Ofodile, who played tight end at Mizzou. Ofodile is now the wide receivers coach at MU. Head coach Barry Odom recently gave him a promotion.
Alex Ofodile has spent the last three years at the University of Oregon, but he played in just 12 games the past two seasons.
During Ofodile’s senior year at Rock Bridge, he caught 92 balls for 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns. Scout.com tabbed him as the No. 1 prospect in the state of Missouri.
Ofodile helped the Bruins get to the Class 5 state title game in St. Louis in November of 2014. He was a long time Mizzou target, but he chose Oregon over MU, Oklahoma, Nebraska, among others.
