Man charged after officers find more than 120 grams of marijuana in his car

A Texas man has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm after Callaway County deputies found a large amount of marijuana in his vehicle.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies pulled Lucas over for speeding on Interstate 70.

When officers approached the vehicle, they could smell marijuana coming from the car.

Lucas admitted that he did have something illegal in his car and said he was probably going to prison. He also admitted that he had approximately three ounces of marijuana under his passenger seat.

Deputies found 72 grams of marijuana in black containers, 67 grams of marijuana in four vacuum sealed packages, a marijuana grinder, and a pipe with marijuana inside.

Lucas was taken to the Callaway County Jail.
