Man with sword steals cash box from Jefferson City dental office
A Jefferson City business says police are investigating after a man went into the dental office and stole a cash box.
It happened around 8:30pm Saturday at the Cherry Hill Dental Office on South Country Club Drive.
Dr. Mary Gadbois confirmed the break in and says the office has surveillance pictures of the suspect.
She says the person came into the office armed with a sword. Dr. Gadbois says they went straight to where the office keeps the cash box and took that and a bag of highlighters.
Dr. Gadbois says the cash box had about $70 dollars in it. She says there was no damage to the business.
Dr. Gadbois says police have not made any arrests. ABC 17 News is working to get additional information from police and will update this story as we confirm more details.
