Cooper County woman charged with stealing multiple prescription medications

A Cooper County woman was charged with burglary or stealing a controlled substance after she was accused of stealing prescription medications.

According to the probable cause statement, Lisa James entered into a victim’s house when no one was there.

Deputies said that the victim had told James she was not allowed to go inside her house without her being there.

The victim told officers that multiple prescribed medications were missing from the medicine cabinet.
