Callaway County deputies arrest wanted man after finding him hiding under a couch

Callaway County deputies arrested Andrew Teel, 29, on Sunday after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Deputies said the warrant pertained to probation violations on the original charges of possession of a controlled substance and forgery.

Officers said they followed leads to locate Teel and ended up searching a residence in the 5000 block of County Road 204.

During the search, deputies found Teel hiding under a couch in the residence.

Teel was taken to the Callaway County Jail where he will stay until a scheduled court appearance.
