Williamsburg man arrested on suspicion of burglarizing home

Callaway County deputies along with Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers arrested a man Saturday afternoon after he allegedly stole items from a home in the 8000 block of Old Highway 40.

Authorities were called to the home after the homeowner reported finding a man taking items.

David Atterberry and a juvenile were taken into custody. Deputies said stolen property was found in a car that had been driven to the home.

Atterberry was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary and stealing. Atterberry is being held without bond. The juvenile was referred to Callaway County juvenile authorities.
