Slight chance of snow this evening, temperature rollercoaster throughout the week
TONIGHT : We’re continuing to track this quick moving system as it moves towards Mid-Missouri. We’ll see on and off light snow falling between 10pm-3am. A lack of moisture and the speed of this system is really going to limit any accumulations to grassy surfaces, with likely only a dusting of snow. Lows will be cold, in the lower 20s.
MONDAY: Clouds will clear out before sunrise, but you will want to make sure you do pack the jacket for yourself and the kiddos. It will be cold out the door in the morning with temperatures around 22 and wind chills in the lower teens. The cold lasts throughout the day as temperatures only moderate into the lower thirties.
EXTENDED: Monday night will be cold with temperatures dipping into the upper teens. We’ll begin to warm up slightly into Tuesday as southwest winds return. That will set up a warm day on your Wednesday with temperatures making it well above average into the mid 50s. However, another cold front is set to arrive Thursday which could bring us a chance at precipitation, but will definitely bring much colder air into the weekend.
