Columbia police investigate arson at Ashland Auto Sales

Columbia police said they are investigating an arson after firefighters responded to a vehicle fire Saturday morning.

According to online dispatch records, Columbia firefighters responded to Ashland Auto Sales around 3:15 a.m. Saturday after reports of an outside fire.

ABC 17 News heard reports that a vehicle at Ashland Auto Sales was fully engulfed in flames.

Police said they may have a possible suspect, but wouldn’t go into further details.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
