Beautiful Weekend Will Lead to a Roller Coaster Week
TODAY : Skies will clear out this morning as we begin the weekend. Temperatures will be slightly cooler than what we have been experiencing the past couple days, but the wind has finally let up. Highs will reach the low to mid 50s in Mid-Missouri with winds will be out of the west at 5-10 mph.
TONIGHT : We will stay slightly above seasonal normals tonight with lows bottoming out right around the 30 degree mark. Winds will be light and variable, turning out of the southwest.
EXTENDED: Temperatures will climb back into the middle to upper 40s on Sunday with partly cloudy skies overhead. We’re continuing to track this second cold front to make its way through the area Sunday into Sunday night. We do have a slight chance of some flurries developing after the front makes its way through the region. Right now, looks like the system moving behind the front is going to be moving quickly so we only have a narrow window when we might see some flakes flying after 9 PM. Looks like a dusting if any accumulation. Skies will clear out to begin the workweek with highs only topping out in the low to mid 30s. We warm up quickly Tuesday and into Wednesday to highs in the middle 50s once again on Wednesday to end the month. February looks to start off interesting with a cold front coming through Wednesday night into Thursday, bringing with it a chance of rain and snow that we will continue to track.
