Maries County deputies find missing Texas juvenile

Maries County deputies announced on Thursday that officers found a missing Texas juvenile.

Deputies said on Wednesday they were contacted by a special investigator with Child Protective Services. The investigator said a missing juvenile had possible ties to the Maries County area.

Officers said they spent several hours investigating leads and found that the juvenile had been spotted in St. Robert earlier in the day.

The juvenile was found and taken into protective custody and was returned to Texas with the proper authorities.

Officers said the juvenile was not being held against her will and her identity would not be released.

Deputies remind residents to always be vigilant in noticing the little things.
