Callaway County deputies arrest wanted fugitive after searching for him for several days

Callaway County deputies arrested James Erbschloe, 54, on Tuesday after officers arrived at a residence in the 4000 block of County Road 137.

Deputies said they responded to the residence in attempt to serve a felony Audrain County arrest warrant to Erbschloe,

Officers said they had been attempting to find and arrest Erbschloe for several days but to no avail.

After one hour on scene, a warrant entry was made into the residence and officers found Erbschloe.

Deputies said they also found Joshua Erbschloe, 25, who was later arrested for hindering the prosecution.

Both men were taken to the Callaway County Jail.

Joshua Erbschloe was released on a criminal summons for a later court appearance and James Erbschloe remains in Callaway County custody.
