Sedalia woman charged after being accused of supplying heroin
A Sedalia woman has been charged with multiple drug charges after she was accused of being a heroin distributor.
According to the probable cause statement, officers were able to obtain a cellphone showing text conversations about Kenneth McGee and Tuesday Sparks distributing heroin in the area.
A customer of Sparks told officers that the couple had two residences, one being a stash house for their drug activity.
A confidential informant for the police department purchased heroin from McGee for $60.
Officers said they obtained search warrants for the couple’s two residences and found heroin, digital scales, a large quantity of plastic bags and methamphetamine.
Officers made contact with Sparks and found multiple drug related conversations on her cellphone. Sparks was later arrested.
Sparks was charged with distribution of a controlled substance in a protected location, delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
