Pettis County deputies arrest woman accused of yelling, swinging knife around
Pettis County deputies arrested Rachael Baker on Saturday after officers were dispatched to a reported disturbance involving a female.
According to the probable cause statement, officers made contact with Baker, who was sitting in a truck in the parking lot. Deputies said they kept asking Baker to step out of the vehicle because there were allegations that she had a knife.
Officers said Baker initially refused their orders but eventually stepped out of the truck. Baker told officers that people were after her and that she was scared.
A witness told deputies they called law enforcement because Baker started to get very agitated and paranoid to staff and other females at the facility.
The witness said she tried to calm down Baker but she became very aggressive, went into kitchen and grabbed a large kitchen knife.
Baker was accused of swinging the knife around while yelling at people.
According to the probable cause statement, the witness was extremely shaken up by the incident and thought Baker ws going to hurt someone with the knife.
Baker was arrested and charged with unlawful use of a weapon.
