Suspect accused of killing 5 people to appear in court Friday
UPDATE 1/5: A judge ruled on Friday that Montgomery County or the Attorney General will have to pay Serrano’s attorneys $40 thousand for the work they have done in the case.
ORIGINAL STORY: A man suspected of killing 5 people including a Missourian has a council status hearing in St. Louis Friday morning.
Pablo Serrano is charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and burglary.
The charges stem from a homicide in Montgomery County back in March of 2016, in which Randy Nordmann was killed at his home.
A day before that, 4 others were killed in Kansas City, Kansas, and those deaths are also being linked to Serrano.
After he appears in court Friday, Serrano has another court appearance scheduled for May.
