Web Extra: Mizzou basketball prepares to open season against Iowa State

COLUMBIA – It has been roughly eight months since Michael Porter Jr. signed with Mizzou, and the Tigers hired Cuonzo Martin as head coach. The team is now just two days away from the beginning of its season against Iowa State.

Martin said he expects Mizzou Arena to be loud and “full of excitement.” The team announced it sold out tickets against Iowa State and sold out all season tickets for the season.Martin said he plans on starting Kassius Robertson at point guard with Jordan Geist and Blake Harris also seeing “plenty of time.” During the Mizzou vs. Kansas exhibition game, Harris started at point guard while Robertson started at the two guard.

Mizzou plays Iowa State Friday, Nov. 10 at 8 p.m.
