UPDATE: Baby found safe after Amber Alert in Rogersville

UPDATE: The Green County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the baby has been found safe.

The stolen vehicle was found in Christian County on Route NN with Day located safely inside. The suspect has not been found. If you have information, you can dial *55 or the Green County Sheriff’s Office at 417-868-4040.

ORIGINAL STORY: An Amber Alert was issued Wednesday night for a child abduction in Rogersville.

According to the alert, it happened at a Kum and Go located 4996 South Highway 125.

The vehicle, a 2007 block Chevrolet Impala was last seen traveling west on Highway 60 from Highway 125. The car’s license plate reads: DC43G.

The child, Carol Day, is five months old and was last seen wearing a pink and cream sleeper with the word “Lovable” over a onesie that reads “Grandpa’s The Best.” She was covered in a Frozen-themed blanket.

Deputies sid the vehicle has damage to the front passenger side and the windows are tinted.
