Deputies arrest man accused of stealing UTVs

Gasconade County deputies helped the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office find stolen UTVs on Sunday after officers served a search warrant in the 1400 block of Highway F.

Officers found two stolen UTVs and other items that were reported stolen. Deputies said that one UTV had been stolen from Crawford County while the second had been stolen from a residence in Gasconade County.

Deputies also said that all of the stolen items were from at least three separate burglaries.

Officers arrested Ronald Groff, who was later charged with two counts of felony stealing and possession of a controlled substance.

Groff was taken to the Crawford County Jail, where he had a bond set at $84,500.
