Firefighters respond to garbage truck fire in central Columbia
UPDATE 4:20 pm: Firefighters said when they arrived on scene they saw smoke coming from the truck.
Crews are still working to determine the cause of the fire.
ORIGINAL STORY: Firefighters responded to a garbage truck that was on fire in central Columbia on Tuesday afternoon.
According to public dispatch, crews responded to the 200 block of Stadium Boulevard for the fire. More than three units were called to the scene.
