Columbia police arrest man accused of stealing generator, pawning it

Columbia police arrested Kyle Denny after officers investigated a theft in the area of 5300 Harbor Town Drive.

Police said the victim reported that a lock was cut on a construction trailer and a generator was stolen. The generator was valued at $2,100.

Officers said a few days after the theft was reported Denny pawned the generator at Family Pawn.

Denny was arrested and faces possible charges of felony stealing.
