Troopers arrest Holts Summit man after short vehicle pursuit

Troopers arrested Bradley Higgins, 41, early Thursday morning after officers attempted to stop a car on Route OO at North Greenway Drive in Holts Summit for a headlamp violation.

Troopers said the car failed to yield and a short pursuit began.

Officers were able to stop Higgins on Hibernia Lane and arrested him.

Higgins was taken to the Callaway County Jail with no bond. He faces possible charges of resisting or interfering with arrest, failure to have two lighted headlamps and possession of marijuana.

Troopers said Higgins also had a felony warrant out for his arrest from the Board of Probation and Parole.
