Columbia police investigating armed robbery at Buffalo Wild Wings on East Nifong Boulevard

UPDATE 9:24 a.m.: CPD sent out another release with more details on the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male in his twenties, five feet and ten inches tall with a skinny build. He was last seen wearing dark colored clothing and had a bandana covering his face.

UPDATE: 1:45 a.m.: A lieutenant with Columbia police has confirmed the armed robbery this morning took place outside the Buffalo Wild Wings on East Nifong.

The suspect is described as a black male, around 5’10” who was last seen wearing all black clothing.

The suspect apparently robbed someone with a gun, and he fled on foot.

Police searched the area but weren’t able to find him.

No one was injured.

ORIGINAL STORY: Columbia police have confirmed they are investigating an armed robbery that happened Wednesday morning on East Nifong Boulevard.

Officers are currently on the scene near the Buffalo Wild Wings.
