Miller County Sheriff’s Office, LOPD and Mid-Mo Drug Task Force conclude drug investigation

On Dec. 12, the Miller County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Ozark Police Department and Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force have completed a drug investigation, resulting in one arrest.

The man arrested was Mark Sooter of Osage Beach. Sooter allegedly sold large amounts of methamphetamine around Miller County and the Lake area.

Sooter admitted in an interview that he sold pounds of methamphetamine over several years.

According to the official release, the Miller County Sheriff’s Office is requesting federal charges and says that there are other people who will be charged in connection to the investigation.
