Mizzou women’s hoops dominates Xavier at the West Palm Invitational

The No. 16 Mizzou women’s basketball team defeated Xavier 74-48 on Monday night at the West Palm Invitational. The Tigers have now won 11 straight games. They’re 11-1 on the season.

Sophie Cunningham led all scorers with 20 points. She also brought down four rebounds and dished out four assists. She was 7-9 from the field and 2-3 from three-point range. The former Rock Bridge star has now eclipsed the 20-point mark 24 different times in her MU career.

Cierra Porter recorded her 17th double-double of her MU career. The junior finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

Mizzou concluded the West Palm Invitational with a 2-0 record. The Tigers also beat Indiana, 75-55, on Sunday afternoon.
