Columbia man accused of drug, illegal weapons possession

A 30-year-old Columbia man is facing multiple felony charges after police arrested him Sunday night.

Officers with the University of Missouri Police Department said they performed a traffic stop just after 8 p.m., because a vehicle did not have its headlights on.

Inside the vehicle was Robert Aulidge, a man who police found to have active warrants out of Pettis County for failing to appear.

When police searched the car, they found meth and a gun, the model and design of which was illegal to own, according to MUPD.

Aulidge was booked into the Boone County Jail, where he remains on combined bonds of nearly $20,000.
