UPDATE: Moberly stabbing suspect taken into custody
UPDATE 12/15: According to the probable cause statement, Williams got into the female victim’s house by going through a window.
The female victim said Wililams started to punch her multiple time, assaulted and then stabbed her.
The other victim reported that he was walking on Kehoe Street when a random black man approached him and stabbed him on the right side of the stomach.
According to the probable cause statement, Williams was previously convicted of assault and domestic assault.
UPDATE: Monquail Williams has been taken into custody by the Moberly Police Department. He was taken in without incident, and is charged with 1st degree domestic assault as well as 1st degree assault.
Williams is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond.
ORIGINAL: Moberly police are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who is accused of stabbing two people.
Police said on Wednesday, officers responded to the Allendale area in reference to a female reporting that Monquail Williams, 31, had broken into her residence and cut her throat.
Police said that the woman sustained wounds to her neck consistent as coming from a knife.
Officers said a short time later they were dispatched to the hospital for a victim with a stab wound to his abdomen.
Police believe Williams is connected to both incidents.
Williams is described as a black man and 242 pounds. He was last seen in the Moberly area driving a blue pickup truck.
Williams is believed to be armed and dangerous and has made threats to harm law enforcement.
