Moniteau County deputies arrest man after chase, foot pursuit

Moniteau County deputies arrested Hansel Cain, 57, on Tuesday after a chase that started in Eldon.

Deputies said the chase covered many gravel roads in the southeast part of the county and headed towards California.

Officers said Cain struck a parked car on High Street and continued to flee. The chase ended on High Street and Aurora Street and a foot pursuit began.

Deputies said they were able to arrest Cain as he was running down the street.

Cain was charged with resisting arrest by fleeing creating a substantial risk of serious injury or death, leaving the scene of an accident.

Cains bond was set at $100,000.
