Callaway County deputies ask for public’s help in finding registered sex offender

UPDATE 12/13: Deputies said Allen was taken into custody on Tuesday night.

Officers found Allen in the 8000 block of State Road CC outside of Steedman.

Deputies said they received several tips which led officers to several locations before his ultimate arrest.

ORIGINAL STORY: Callaway County deputies asked for the public’s help Monday in finding registered sex offender Homer Allen, 30.

The Missouri Department of Corrections and the Board of Probation and Parole had issued a felony parole warrant for Allen after he was listed as an absconder for failing to register with the Callaway County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies said Allen has ties to Callaway County, Audrain County and the state of Arkansas.
