Warrant issued for Cole County contractor accused of not paying back customers

A warrant was issued on Tuesday for a Cole County contractor convicted of ripping off customers.

Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley’s office said Ken Jinson didn’t show up for a probation violation hearing Tuesday morning.

A judge issued the warrant and set a cash-only bond at $1,000.

In April, Jinson had pleaded no contest to theft and deceptive business practices.

The attorney general ordered him to pay back nearly $27,000 over five years, but in October, Hawley filed a motion to revoke Jinson’s probation after he said Jinson had not been paying restitution.
