Camden County deputies arrest man after they find 70 grams of marijuana

Camden County deputies arrested Ricky Richie Jr. on Friday after officers served a search warrant at his residence in the 700 block of Dry Ridge Road.

According to the probable cause statement, deputies found 70 grams of marijuana, six morphine pills and an assortment of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies said they also found methamphetamine residue on a digital scale they found in Ritchie’s bedroom.

Ritchie admitted possession of the drugs and paraphernalia that officers found in his bedroom.

Officers said they looked through Ritchie’s phone and found drug-related messages, including messages related to the distribution of the controlled substances.

Ritchie was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
