Second ALDI scheduled to open in Columbia

ALDI is scheduled to open a new store in Columbia on Dec. 15 in the 1000 block of East Green Meadows Road.

ALDI currently has more than 1,600 stores in 35 states, serving more than 40 million customers each month.

“We value our customers in Columbia and are thrilled to add an additional location in the Columbia community to continue offering high-quality groceries at prices they love,” said Rob Jeffries, O’Fallon division vice president for the company.

As part of its accelerated growth and expansion, ALDI plans to add 25,000 new jobs in stores, warehouses and offices.

ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:25 a.m. on opening day at the new location.
