Cole County man accused of threatening woman with two guns
A Cole County man has been charged with unlawful use of a weapon after a woman claimed he threatened her with two guns.
According to the probable cause statement, the victim was visiting Joshua Eichholz’s residence when he pointed two guns at her chest.
The victim told Cole County deputies Eichholz was yelling at her and demanding she leave and she believed he would shoot her.
Deputies said on Sunday they served a search warrant at Eichholz’s house and found two guns and a rifle that was reported stolen out of Boone County.
Officers said they also found six smoking devices commonly used for marijuana, a large amount of glass pipes commonly used for smoking illegal narcotics and two digital scales.
One of the scales had a methamphetamine residue on it, deputies said.
According to public court documents, Eichholz was served a warrant for his arrest on Wednesday and public jail records show he was in the Cole County Jail on Thursday.
