TRAFFIC ALERT: Grass fire in the median of I-70, one eastbound lane blocked

MODOT officials warned drivers on Tuesday afternoon that there was a grass fire in the median of I-70.

Crews said the fire is in the median at mile marker 132 in Boone County.

One eastbound lane is currently blocked.

MODOT officials warn that the smoke could temporarily cause an issue for drivers in both directions.
