Robertson’s hot shooting leads Mizzou past UCF

The Mizzou men’s basketball team got its first true road win since January of 2014 on Thursday night in Orlando, Fla. The Tigers beat UCF 62-59 to improve to 6-2 on the season.

Senior guard Kassius Robertson led the Tigers with 19 points. He was 5-7 from three-point range. Fellow senior Jordan Barnett also finished with 19 points, including a monstrous dunk with just under four minutes to go in the first half.

Freshman Jeremiah Tilmon played well against UCF’s 7-foot-6 inch big man Tacko Fall. He held him to 12 points. Offensively, Tilmon put in 12 points and brought down seven boards.

The Tigers shot 46 percent from the field as a team. They were 8-19 from three-point range. MU turned the ball over 10 times.

Mizzou is back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 5 to face Miami (Ohio) at Mizzou Arena. Tip-off is at p.m.
