UPDATE: Ameren crews repair power lines after crash on Route B in Boone County

UPDATE 11/24- 8:20 a.m.: Ameren Missouri confirmed crews have finished repairing the power lines damaged in the crash.

Ameren said crews finished repair work by 5:30 a.m. Friday. The damage temporarily knocked out power to one customer.

UPDATE 11/23- 9:05 p.m.: Route B between 4 way and Hudson in Hallsville will be closed for approximately six hours due to electrical repairs, according to emergency crews.

Emergency crews worked a crash on north Route B near Highway 124 east in Boone County, near Hallsville.

First responders were called to the crash just before 8 o’clock on Thursday night.

Crews had closed Route B near the crash and were directing traffic around the area.

The Boone County Fire Protect District told ABC 17 News the crash happened after a vehicle hit a power pole and knocked it over.

Emergency crews said the driver was out of the vehicle. Their name or condition has not been released.
